With over twenty years of nursing experience I have had the great opportunity to work in many diverse fields: emergency, cardiovascular step-down, pediatrics and oncology. I have over ten years of experience in the home care setting, as well as teaching Nursing at the University level. This experience has given me the ability and advantage to think outside the box and grow. I get to make a profound difference every single day.
One of the most rewarding aspects of a career in nursing is the ability to connect with our patients on a uniquely personal level. I became a nurse so that I could have an impact on the lives of others and have a career that makes a difference. I have never had a regret about my career choice. While I often meet my clients under very difficult circumstances, I get to know my patients very quickly and have the opportunity to play an important role in their lives.
During my free time, I enjoy running, watching movies and vacationing with my family.
