Hospice Home Health Aide

When a family chooses hospice, daily physical care becomes one of the most important gifts a care team can offer. Our hospice Home Health Aides are Certified Nursing Assistants who bring both trained skill and genuine compassion to each visit. They work as part of your loved one’s hospice care team, providing hands-on support that preserves dignity and makes each day more comfortable.

Hospice home health aide services are covered in full by Medicare, with no copay and no out-of-pocket cost for covered visits.

We Can Help

Our hospice aides focus on one thing: making your loved one as comfortable as possible. They provide personal care with patience and respect, support the family, and stay closely connected to the nursing team so that any change in your loved one’s condition is noticed and addressed.

Every aide on our hospice team is a Certified Nursing Assistant. This means they are trained to provide skilled personal care, recognize changes in condition, and communicate with the clinical team — not just assist with daily tasks.

Services We Offer

Personal Care and Comfort
  • Bathing, sponge baths, and oral hygiene
  • Grooming, hair care, and dressing
  • Incontinence care, delivered with dignity
  • Repositioning and gentle mobility support
  • Changing bed linens and light housekeeping related to patient comfort
  • Assistance with meals and hydration
Observation and Team Communication

Because our aides visit regularly, they are often the first to notice a change. They document what they observe and report directly to the hospice nurse, keeping the full care team informed and responsive.

Presence and Family Support

An aide’s presence does more than support physical care. It gives families space to be family again — to sit with their loved one, share a memory, or simply rest. Our aides understand this role and take it seriously.
