After surgery or a sedentary time, recovery is as much about mindset as it is movement. Moving more can boost circulation, increase appetite, and has mental health benefits. Our team helps clients regain mobility and strength using non-medical techniques and walking aids like wheelchairs, walkers, and canes.
Client safety in all matters is a top priority. Our caregivers are here to provide essential support and mobility care. Here’s what we offer:
Whether you or a loved one needs safety supervision temporarily or on a regular basis, we can tailor a safety and service plan just for you.
Safety supervision is non-medical support that reduces the risk of falls and injuries at home. Our caregivers assist with walking, safe transfers in and out of bed and chairs, bed positioning, and the correct use of walkers, canes, and wheelchairs. They also stay present during the times of day when falls are most likely, such as getting up at night, bathing, and moving between rooms.
Yes. After a fall, our Transitional Care plan places a caregiver in the home for 4 to 12 hour shifts to supervise movement, help with transfers, and support the mobility exercises prescribed by a physical therapist. If your parent needs skilled therapy, our Medicare-certified physical therapy team can be added under a physician’s order, and our concierge physical therapists can continue after Medicare visits end.
No. Safety supervision is provided by trained non-medical caregivers through our affiliate Home Care Connectors. A registered nurse assesses each client at the start of care and is on call 24 hours a day, and when a fall risk is tied to a medical condition, our nurses and therapists become part of the plan.
